Dear Coordinators, Sisters, and Friends:


We, the Retreat committee, hope that your summer has been both pleasant and restful.


My sisters, we have had an entire year to reflect on past retreats and remember the faith filled messages of hope and encouragement imparted to us year after year by some wonderful speakers.


We, the retreat committee, have had an entire year to beg God’s guidance in preparing next year’s faith filled celebration. For, 40 years ago, the Lord in His infinite wisdom placed this retreat into motion using his servant Nadine Kelly… Her work stands as a testimony of her faith and it has touched our lives in an extremely meaningful way.


My sisters, it is with great excitement that we invite you to attend the 40th Annual Northeastern Ladies Retreat!!!!


This wonderful event will be held June 1 through June 3, 2018 at the Hilton Hotel in Dedham, Massachusetts.


There we will focus on the theme, “Eliminate the Competition” (Jeremiah 29:11).




Each person will be responsible for making her own arrangements with the Hilton Hotel. Standard rooms have been set aside for our use. Each room is available with a single king bed or two double beds. The rates are as follows:


Single to Quadruple Occupancy                                $129 plus 11.7% tax


The hotel will only honor this rate until May 1, 2018 or until the rooms set aside for our use have been filled. After the deadline, if any rooms are left they will be released and the group rate will no longer be available.


Therefore, it is very important to be sure to reserve your space as soon as possible.

Remember, this price is based on availability.

The registration process has changed. We are no longer registering congregations as a group. Going forward, each sister will be responsible for making her own payments.


  • The Retreat fee for those who register before 04/01/18: $268 for adults & $90 for children ages 6 – 12


  • The registration fee On or after 04/01/18:


$278 for adults and $100 for children ages 6 – 12


These monies cover the cost of food, badges, etc. There is no charge for children 5 & under.



Please note:

The hotel has given us a maximum capacity limitation. The first 170 sisters that register will be able to experience this awesome event. Keep in mind, this number includes children ages 6 – 12.




Payments and Schedule:


The registration payment schedule for participants who register before 04/01/18 is as follows:



1st Pmt – 10/15

2nd Pmt – 12/15

3rd Pmt – 02/15

4th Pmt – 04/15













On or after 04/01/18 the full registration payment will be due.


Enclosed you will find a payment registration form. Please make copies and give to each sister who wishes to attend the retreat. A copy of this form should accompany each payment submitted by the individual.

  • Do not make any money orders out to Clarise Bryant. Any money orders made out to her will have to be returned.


  • No partial installment payments. Please either send the full installment for each date noted above or the full registration amount.


The installment schedule has been instituted to ensure easy tracking of all payments for us, and for you as well. Therefore, we humbly request … please, pleeease sisters, follow it. Send no more than four payments per person.


  • Please do not send forms without money. We cannot make arrangements for anyone without a payment.


If you find you cannot attend the Retreat your monies may be refunded. However, since we must make a monetary commitment to the hotel, the deadline for reimbursement is February 15.


Introduction of Congregations:


Our theme is built around idea of honestly seeing ourselves as God see us. After taking a deep introspective look at ourselves, we must then eliminate anything that stands in the way of our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In this way, we can carry out our God given mission of drawing the world to Him.


With this in mind, the theme associated with introduction of congregations will be


“Becoming Different, To Make a Difference”


Step 1: Create your banner: Since we are looking at our true reflections, we ask that you place a mirror on your banner along with the name of your congregation and the words “Becoming Different, To Make a Difference”

Step 2: Choose Your Goals: Discuss what is it that you as a congregation would like to eliminate to become a mirror reflection of the God we serve. Then make individual signs some of your sisters can carry housing those traits.




Eliminate Jealousy/Eliminate Hatred

This is going to make an incredible statement of our faith and our commitment in Christ!

This is going to be awesome!!!


Remember sisters… this is a smoke free retreat.
